About The Author

Jonathan Veal is a lifelong Rotherham United fan, who first attended Millmoor in 1987 to watch a 1-0 home defeat by Bury, and this is his second book on the Millers.

His first, Impossible Dream: The Ronnie Moore Years, was released in April 2013 and went on to receive public acclaim and widespread positive reviews.

He is a qualified journalist, working for the Press Association – the UK’s leading news and sports agency – since 2006, covering the Football League, including the Millers on a day-to-day basis.

Jonathan was involved in PA’s landmark coverage of the 2012 London Olympics, where he followed the journey of Great Britain men and women’s handball teams to the Greatest Show On Earth over several years.

He has contributed to a number of other books, including the Official English Leagues’ Records 2011 and London 2012 Olympic Games: The Official Book.

David Marshall

David is a graphic and web designer with years of experience under his belt on high-profile websites and his technical and creative know-how proved vital in the making of the book, he was part of the team that produced Impossible Dream: The Ronnie Moore Years.

David, has once again created the front cover, page layout, and designed, maintained and built the website. He was always on hand to help out with any issues.
